Bachchan Pandey is an impending Indian Hindi-language activity satire movie coordinated by Farhad Samji, composed by Nischay Kuttanda and Farhad Samji and created by Sajid Nadiadwala. It stars Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez in lead jobs. The film follows a unique content by Kuttanda and Samji, regardless of reports that it is a revamp of Jigarthanda. The film will dramatically deliver on 4 March 2022.

Development[edit]
Bachchhan Paandey was initially supposed to a remake of Tamil film Veeram but the makers altered the script to come up with an original idea.[18] Later sources, however, report that Bachchhan Paandey is a remake of the Tamil film Jigarthanda.[5][6]
The title derives from a character of the same name, played by Kumar, in the 2008 actioner Tashan. The title was initially spelled Bachchan Pandey but was later changed to Bachchhan Paandey.[19]
Filming[edit]
Principal photography commenced on 6 January 2021 in Jaisalmer.[20][21][22] Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the shooting was delayed,[23] but filming has started on 6 January.[24] and was wrapped up in July 2021.[25]

The film's music is composed by Amaal Malik, B Praak, Jaani, Vikram Montrose and Roy while lyrics written by Kumaar, Jaani, Farhad Bhiwandiwala, Vikram Montrose and Azeem Dayani. The film's background score is composed by Julius Packiam.

Release[edit]
Bachchhan Paandey was earlier scheduled to release on 25 December 2020,[26] but was changed to 22 January 2021 due to Aamir Khan’s request,[27] The film is scheduled to release theatrically on 18 March 2022.[2]
